Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) signed a five-year contract with Malaysia Airlines (MAS) for end-to-end information technology infrastructure services.
The partnership is the part of the MAS strategic IT outsourcing program to transform the airlines’ operations to ‘deliver seamless internal customer experience’. “One of the key initiatives includes fine-tuning our IT outsourcing strategy to deliver the required business results at lower cost. At the same time, we will continue to work with our key vendors to maximise service delivery and to pro-actively address other business requirements,” said MAS chief information officer, Faridal Abdul Rahman.
TCS would undertake IT infrastructure management of MAS data centres, IT networks and security.
