Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) has joined German software major SAP AG's SAP global partner-services programme, under which the Tata company becomes a partner for the global enterprise resource planning major's services across the world. |
TCS is the first Asian consulting company to tie-up with SAP, and under the partnership deal, the company will invest in joint marketing resources and strategic planning. |
TCS will work with SAP to develop a range of services that address specific customer pain points across many different industries and markets, TCS said in a release here today. |
TCS will also serve as a source of international deployment of SAP Business One to subsidiaries of corporate enterprises and apply its expertise in manufacturing to implement adaptive manufacturing solutions for customers worldwide. |
The company has also signed up for BPO services powered by SAP program and is building a platform to provide human capital management (HCM) business process outsourcing (BPO) services that are based on mySAP ERP. |
According to N Chandrasekaran, head of global sales and operations, TCS, "We see tremendous opportunity to help customers in adoption of enterprise service oriented architecture (SOA) for growth." |
"This global partnership will also help drive customer upgrades to mySAP ERP in target verticals, using TCS's innovation labs to build and showcase solution accelerators and composites.
