The Telecom Disputes Settlement and Appellate Tribunal (TDSAT) has stayed Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited’s (BSNL’s) Rs 200-crore access deficit charge (ADC) demand from Reliance Communications (RCom) for 20 circles.

The telecom tribunal, headed by chairman S B Sinha, in its interim order, directed BSNL not to disconnect RCom’s point of interconnect (PoI) till its further order. The tribunal's directive followed an RCom plea challenging a demand note issued by BSNL, asking it to deposit Rs 200 crore, including interest, for 20 circles as ADC.
