Virtusa plans campus recruitments

As part of this initiative, the company expects to screen over 3,000 students from over 200 engineering colleges across Tamil Nadu. The candidates will be hired for its software development facilities in Chennai and Hyderabad.

A company statement said that Virtusa would be recruiting engineering graduates from computer science, electronics & communications, and IT disciplines.

It would also target MCA students. The company would be hiring students with minimum of 72 per cent marks, without any standing arrears.

Virtusa's campus recruitment drive will be conducted at KLN College of Engineering, Madurai, between May 28 and 29, College of Engineering, Anna University, Chennai, between May 31 and June 1, and in the Government College of Technology, Coimbatore, between June 3 and 4.

T N Hari, vice-president and global head of human resources, Virtusa, said that the graduates would be working on 'productisation' model and cutting-edge technologies.
