Residential real estate bounces back after third quarter of CY2020

Though residential real estate was hit hard by pandemic and lockdown initially, the sector has bounced back after the third quarter of the calendar 2020. On a yearly basis , Mumbai, Thane and Pune saw more or less the same number of launches in CY2020 despite the pandemic. However, unit sizes of new launches shrunk in Mumbai and Thane but rose in Pune, said a report by data analytics firm CRE MATRIX. Preferred housing ticket size remained broadly stable in Mumbai, Thane and Pune, it said.
