| GSM major Vodafone-Essar has slashed local call tariffs for both post- and pre-paid services to Re 1 per minute across all its circles in the country. At present, the company levies on an average Rs 1.99 per minute on pre-paid connections and Rs 1.69 per minute on post connections. However, these tariffs vary from scheme to scheme.
