Wi-Fi Alliance, a network of companies that issues certificates for wireless fidelity, on June 25 introduced the WPA3 certificate. The successor to the WPA2 Wi-Fi security protocols announced in 2004, the WPA3 certificate was announced after more than a decade. However, the new certificate brings fixes to known security loopholes, along with interoperability for enhanced Wi-Fi security at places like home, restaurants, stadiums, enterprise set-ups etc.
