Wipro bags 25mn pound deal

Wipro has bagged a 25 million pound contract from UK-based Northern Gas Networks (NGN).

NGN, one of the new independent gas network companies in Britain, has selected Wipro Technologies to implement a complete replacemenet of its work and asset management systems.

Wipro would implement a complete new suite of systems to manage the assets of the gas network in the north of England, and support the staff who operate and maintain the network, the company said in a statement today.
