Wipro 'leader' in SAP implementation

Wipro Technologies, the global IT services arm of Wipro, today announced that it has been recognised as "a leader in SAP implementation services" by research firm Forrester Research.

The recognition came in a report in December 2007 titled "The Forrester Wave: SAP Implementation providers, Q4 2007", which evaluated 16 global vendors providing SAP services across 108 criteria, a Wipro statement said.

"Wipro is an especially good fit for buyers that required utilities, oil and gas, or consumer packaged goods expertise," the report said. "Given its deep expertise in these sectors, Wipro is a strong choice for clients in these areas that require full services, end-to-end implementation engagements as well as buyers that require just technical implementation skills," the report added.

Wipro Technologies Senior VP Sangita Singh said, "This recognition by Forrester reflects our position as a leader in the SAP services space".
