Wipro is slightly more optimistic on its revenue outlook for the April-June 2005 quarter than Infosys, which announced its results on April 19. |
Infosys said its consolidated revenue was expected to be between $459 million and $463 million. On its January-March revenue of $455 million, the outlook would give it a sequential growth of between 0.879 per cent and 1.758 per cent. |
Wipro, which announced its outlook today, said it expected the April-June quarter revenue of its flaghip business, Wipro Technologies, to be $395 million. On its January-March quarter revenue of $375 million, the forecast would give the company a sequential revenue growth of 5.33 per cent. |
Even factoring in Infosys' ultra-conservative guidance practice, Wipro's guidance looks more positive. |
