According to a release issued by the company to the BSE, the office will recruit local language consultants and will expand into a local language delivery and development centre. The Munich office is Wipro's third major centre in Germany, after Kiel and Dusseldorf, and marks the next phase of the company's plans for investment in expanding its German infrastructure.
Apart from Germany, Wipro has development centres in the USA, UK, Finland, Sweden, Japan and China, with additional centres planned in Eastern Europe and the Philippines, the release added.
