InFocus, the US based technology company on Tuesday launched of a slew of smartphones, tablets & LED TVs. The Foxconn-backed company is eyeing to expand in the Indian Market. Foxconn, the world’s largest electronics contractor manufacturer, assembles products for the likes of Apple, Blackberry and Microsoft.
InFocus launched four new smartphones – M812, M808, M550-3D & M370 – ranging between Rs 5,999 and Rs 19,999, seven LED TVs, a 2-in-1 tablet and three feature phone models during the launch event. InFocus also hinted to the packed crowd of bloggers and journalists that this is just the first phase of this aspirational brand’s rollout in India and the Indian public should expect to see a great variety of new products and product lines from InFocus in the not-so-distant future.
Among the smartphones, the InFocus M550-3D boasts the naked-eye 3D technology which allows one view 3D movies and games without the requirement of 3D glasses.
Along with a 2GB RAM and a 16GB ROM, it also sports a MediaTek 1.7GHz Octa-core processor.
The InFocus M812 features an anodized aluminum unibody design, 3GB RAM / 16GB ROM and a Qualcomm 2.5GHz quad-core processor, while the M808 features add to these a first-rate 13MP HDR camera.
Powered by a Qualcomm 1.1GHz Quad-core processor and featuring a textured back cover design, InFocus M370 rounds of the list of smartphones launched.
Among televisions, InFocus launched a series of Ultra HD, Full HD and HD LED versions, available in 70”, 60” and 50” sizes.
Also unveiled during the event was InFocus’s 2-in-1 hybrid tablet and economical feature phones. The 2-in-1 hybrid tablet features 10.6” FHD touch display and detachable magnetic keyboard. The InFocus F110, F120 and F135 feature phones sport 1.77”, 2.4” and 2.8” displays respectively.
