India’s second-largest business process outsourcing (BPO) unit, WNS, has realigned its business practice under an initiative christened ‘Global Transformation Practice’.
It has appointed Daniel Wollenberg as senior vice-president to head the practice. Executives joining this group include Sanjay Jain, chief information officer, Anish Nanavaty, former CEO of WNS research and analytics services and Lyndon Rodrigues, former MD of the company’s strategic initiatives.
The need to realign was triggered by its customers increasingly asking for transformational opportunities, said Wollenberg.
NYSE-listed WNS reported a revenue of $459.9 million (around Rs 2,160 crore) as on March 31. The Q4 revenue of the company was $132.5 mn, up 14 per cent on a year-on-year basis.
