WNS to set up centre in Navi Mumbai SEZ

Mumbai-based WNS (Holdings), a leading provider of business process outsourcing (BPO) services, today announced it has entered into an agreement to set up a delivery center in an approved special economic zone (SEZ) in Navi Mumbai.

The WNS centre is expected to have over 3,800 seats when fully operational and is scheduled to go live in phases starting December 2008.

We are committed to providing a world class BPO infrastructure to serve our growing client base while ensuring cost effectiveness and tax efficiency for our shareholders. Our new facility at Navi Mumbai is expected to be operational starting December 2008, and we are very excited about serving our clients there," said Neeraj Bhargava, CEO, WNS Global Services.

Earlier this year, WNS also established a centre in an SEZ in Gurgaon, Haryana.
