WorldSpace in pact

WorldSpace Satellite Radio, a global satellite-based digital radio service provider, on Tuesday announced that it has formed an alliance with Cafe Coffee Day.
 
Through this relationship, WorldSpace's variety of satellite radio content will be played throughout the day for patrons at 100 cafes across India.
 
Andy-Ras Work, COO, WorldSpace Satellite Radio said, "WorldSpace's relationship with Cafe Coffee Day is designed to reach music lovers in India and create an appreciation of the unique value WorldSpace offers its subscribers. Our repertoire of radio stations in commercial-free programming formats, in combination with Cafe Coffee Day's relaxing atmosphere, is sure to please coffee lovers and music lovers alike."
 
In addition to showcasing over 40 radio stations of premium music and entertainment, Cafe Coffee Day will also host exclusive consumer entertainment and promotional activities at the outlets organised by WorldSpace.
 
The year-long alliance includes the installation of WorldSpace receivers at 100 Cafe Coffee Day outlets across India.
 
In the first phase, Cafe Coffee Day outlets in Kochi, Mumbai, Delhi, Bangalore and Hyderabad will be outfitted with the necessary equipment.
