XIUS-bcgi signs MoU with Bharti Airtel to provide mobile transaction platform

XIUS-bcgi, the telecom division of Megasoft Limited, a provider of telecom solutions for mobile operators, has launched its eCogNito solution, an end-to-end mobile transaction platform.

Bharti Airtel, India’s leading integrated telecom company, will do the pilot under a memorandum of understanding with XIUS-bcgi.

“The eCogNito solution offers mobile network operators anytime, anywhere electronic talktime charging and bill payment in self-service mode,” said Sunny DeWakar, president, XIUS-bcgi's eCogNito division.

It simplifies and speeds up mobile transactions and can be a replacement for smart cards that are used currently for different applications.

“We have generated interest with the launch of mobile commerce service in India. We have over 260,000 customers signed up,” said Pallab Mitra, head of m-Commerce for Bharti Airtel.

 

GV Kumar, chief executive officer, of XIUS-bcgi, said the company was confident of aligning with more operators to roll-out their m-commerce services, according to a release.
