Yahoo! India today announced the launch of a forum - Ask The Planet (ATP) - on Yahoo! India Answers.

President A P J Abdul Kalam has posed the first question - What should we do to free our planet from terrorism?

Kalam will pick the best answer to his question in February.

IPS officer Kiran Bedi, tennis player Leander Paes and spiritual guru Sri Sri Ravi Shankar have already posted replies to the question posed by President Kalam.

The ATP series will continue for six weeks allowing users to answer a string of questions posed by Indian luminaries and achievers.

George Zacharias, managing director, Yahoo! India, said: "We are delighted to bring Ask The Planet series to India. In line with the objective of Yahoo! Answers in creating a rich knowledge repository, the ATP series will provide an innovative platform for millions of Indians, based on their real life experiences, to answer some of the biggest questions that touch our lives today."
