Zensar Technologies Limited, a software services and BPO organisation, is launching a remote hub for its innovative global delivery model in Hyderabad.

This centre, which is its first in south India, will be an extended delivery facility for Zensar's India operations and will showcase an implementation of Zensar's Solution BluePrint (SBP) for software development.

According to Ganesh Natarajan, deputy chairman and managing director, Zensar Technologies, "The key objective of looking beyond Pune for expansion is to spread our India footprint and leverage the locational advantages that Hyderabad offers as an IT destination. The SBP-based global delivery model will demonstrate Zensar's unique capabilities for domestic and international clients. Our first centre outside Pune was in Shenzhen in China and the Hyderabad centre will be our first establishment in southern India".

As a development hub, this centre will deploy Zensar's concept of an innovative global delivery model, which supports a virtual community of software professionals working from different locations across the globe to build software solutions using Zensar's SBP framework.

This model dispenses with the need for establishing and maintaining expensive brick and mortar structures to house software professionals, a media statement said.

Vijay Saradhi, a financial services industry expert, who has relocated from the USA to head Zensar's global centre in Hyderabad, said "In addition to a large number of SAP and Oracle resources for our Enterprise Group, Hyderabad will showcase the new delivery model as well as act as the base for our global financial services practice. We expect to use the best technologies and scale up to over 300 people in the first year of operations."
