Kaspersky Lab, a developer, producer and distributor of information security solutions, has announced that Zoom Technologies (India) Private Limited will be its direct sales partner in India. Headquartered in Moscow, the international information security software vendor so far had been marketing its solutions in India through indirect channels. |
Addressing the media, Diana Melkumyan, deputy director (business development), Kaspersky Lab, said, "We had been selling our products through indirect partners but we believe that now is the right time for us to enter India through a direct channel. We are serious about India and are open to various opportunities." |
Kaspersky has 200 million users of its solutions and 500 employees. Around 200 new viruses are presumed to appear daily and the company claims to find a solution for defeat within 15 minutes. |
The number of updates released by the company every month is 600. Some of its clients include Airbus, BBC Worldwide and the Indira Gandhi National Open University. |
