Zoom Tech ties up with Tatas to sell anti-virus products at Croma stores

Zoom Technologies, a Hyderabad-based data security and network solutions provider, on Thursday entered into a strategic partnership with Tata Communications to promote Kaspersky range of anti-virus products on the latter’s online properties – yuvayantra.com and tataindicombroadband.com and its group company Infiniti Retail's consumer electronics and durables chain Croma.

Zoom Technologies is the exclusive distributor for Russian software company Kaspersky Lab’s products in India.

Announcing the launch of Kaspersky’s 2009 versions of mobile and Internet anti-virus products in the Indian market here on Thursday, Zoom Technologies managing director MH Noble said Tata Communications, through Infiniti Retail, will bundle a free Kaspersky anti-virus licenses with laptops and desktops at Croma.

 

“The new products, including the 30:70 revenue-sharing agreement with Tata Communications, are expected to bring in $4 million (approximately Rs 17.6 crore) from the Indian market in the first year,” Noble said.
