Union minister Ashwini Vaishnaw on Sunday said there was a lot of interest globally in Prime Minister Narendra Modi's economic policies, which would be the focus of discussions at the World Economic Forum in Davos.
Vaishnaw, who is leading the Indian delegation at the annual World Economic Forum (WEF) meeting beginning Monday, said there was a lot of interest in India's growth story among the international community, particularly about the digital transformation and the new digital architecture.
"In the World Economic Forum in Davos, there is lot of interest in understanding our thought process, the prime minister's economic policy, about the digital transformation, about the way India has created new digital architecture under the Digital India programme and also the way technology has been democratised. There is a lot of interest on this," he said.

Saif Ali Khan's wife and actress Kareena Kapoor Khan has informed the police that the intruder who entered their house in Mumbai got aggressive during the scuffle but did not touch jewellery kept in the open, an official said on Saturday.
The police recorded the actress's statement following the attack at the Bollywood star couple's apartment in Bandra in the early hours of Thursday, the official said.
An intruder attacked Khan (54) after entering his 12th-floor apartment in the Satguru Sharan building. The actor sustained multiple stab wounds, including on his neck, and was rushed to Lilavati Hospital, where he underwent emergency surgery.
The official said Kareena, in her statement, said the intruder got very aggressive during the scuffle with Saif, stabbing him multiple times. He, however, did not touch the jewellery kept in the open.
He said the police are yet to record Khan's statement.

The proposed waste-to-energy plant in Bawana has taken centre stage ahead of the Delhi Assembly elections with the local residents raising environmental and health concerns and a section threatening to boycott the polls if the project proceeds.
The plant has been planned on a 15-acre site near the Treatment, Storage, and Disposal Facility (TSDF) for hazardous waste in DSIDC Sector 5.
Speaking to PTI, residents from over 15 nearby villages have claimed that the project will result in the destruction of trees, increased air and water pollution, and long-term health risks, including respiratory ailments as well as neurological disorders.
They also argued that emissions from the waste-to-energy (WTE) plant, such as dioxins, furans, particulate matter (PM2.5 and PM10), and even heavy metals like mercury and lead, will not just worsen the air quality but also endanger public health.
