Brijesh Singh has been appointed senior vice-president and global head of artificial intelligence (AI) of Wipro Enterprise Futuring.
Wipro Enterprise Futuring is among the four global business lines (GBLs) announced by Wipro in April this year.
This business line comprises intelligent insights and data, application platforms, digital operations, and cybersecurity.
It is aimed at elevating Wipro’s traditional enterprise transformation and operations business by leveraging advanced technologies such as AI and augmented reality.
Singh brings to Wipro more than 30 years of experience in the technology consulting space and was previously a senior partner at Deloitte where he drove AI and data-led transformation.

Singh’s appointment follows Wipro’s $1 billion investment in AI and the launch of Wipro ai360.
Last month, Wipro launched ai360, an ecosystem with the goal of integrating AI into every platform, tool, and solution used internally and offered to clients.
It was also among the first Indian IT services companies to commit an investment of $1 billion for AI over the next three years.

Singh holds a BE in electrical engineering from Birsa Institute of Technology (BIT) Sindri. He will report to Nagendra Bandaru, managing partner and president, Enterprise Futuring at Wipro.
