Aarti Industries restarts operations at Vapi plants

Plants were closed from January 1, 2014 after the company receive closure notice from Gujarat Pollution Control Board

Aarti Industries has restarted manufacturing activities at Vapi plants, which discontinued operations from January 1, 2014 following closure orders received from Gujarat Pollution Control Board (GPCB).
 
On January 14, 2014, Aarti Industries informed BSE that GPCB vide order dated January 13, 2014 has revoked the said order and has allowed the company to restart/commence the manufacturing activities in the said plants. On receipt of such order commercial operation/production in company’s division – Alchemie Organic and Aarti Fertilizers has commence with effect from January 14, 2014.

Aarti Industries also informed that as a result of temporary shut of these plants, operating profit for the quarter ending March 2014 would be affected by approximately Rs 3.5 to 4 crores
