Birla Carbon ropes in Dutch distributor IMCD to expand European business

Birla Carbon, one of the leading global manufacturers of carbon black additives and a flagship business of the Aditya Birla Group, has expanded its distribution agreement with the Dutch chemical distributor IMCD to cover South East Europe and Poland.
 
“IMCD NV and Birla Carbon are delighted to announce the extension of their exclusive distribution agreement for the sale of their specialty black products Raven, Conductex, Statex, Neotex and Furnex to include Poland, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Serbia, Croatia, Slovenia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Romania, Bulgaria, Hungary, Kazakhstan and Ukraine effective October 1, 2014,” said IMCD in a press release.
 
Already distributing Birla Carbon Specialty Black products in different regions, this new agreement in South East Europe (SEE) and Poland will further extend the service provided by IMCD to the existing customer base and enhance the opportunity to actively penetrate these markets and explore new potential applications.
