China slaps anti-dumping duties on Indian pyridine
The tariff will range from 24.6% to 57.4% on imports from India and Japan

Pyridine is a chemical which is used in preparation of various agrochemicals and pharmaceuticals besides being an important solvent and reagent.

The Ministry said an eight-month investigation found that producers in India and Japan had been dumping pyridine into the Chinese market, which had caused substantial damage to Chinese industry. In May, the Ministry issued a preliminary ruling that India and Japan had been dumping the chemical into the Chinese market and slapped preliminary anti-dumping duties of up to 57.4% on the product.
