D J Balaji Rao to step down as 3M India's Chairman

B S Iyer to take over as Chairman from August 4, 2014

D J Balaji Rao, Non-Executive Independent Director and Chairman of the Board of 3M India Ltd, will retire from his post from August 4, 2014. The company has informed BSE that Balaji Rao has conveyed his intention not to seek reappointment owing to his other commitments. Accordingly, the Board has decided not to fill for the time being, the vacancy caused due to his retirement. Balaji Rao will continue as a Director and Chairman of the Board till the conclusion of the ensuing AGM to be held on August 4, 2014.
 
The Board at its meeting held on May 29, 2014 elected B S Iyer, Non-Executive Independent Director, as Chairman of the Board with effect from the conclusion of the ensuing AGM of 3M India to be held on August 4, 2014.
