Energy efficiency will be a key differentiator in chemical industry: HRS

HRS Process Systems' V Gokul Das

According to HRS Process Systems Ltd. (HRS), a part of the UK-based HRS Group and a provider of heat exchangers and process equipment, energy efficiency will be a key differentiator for the chemical industry, one of the leading consumers of energy in the country. “In recent times, the chemical industry in India has seen reasonable traction; however, specialty chemicals & additives could present the next big growth opportunity in India where currently the consumption and awareness is low as compared to other countries. We are convinced that for this sector to continue to grow fast, energy efficiency will be a key differentiator,” said V Gokul Das, Managing Director, HRS Process Systems Ltd.

HRS Process Systems Ltd, one of the leading heat transfer specialists, offers thermal processing technology to some of the large chemical manufacturers such as Jubilant, Atul, Bayer, Syngenta, and Zuari Agro. “HRS Process’ energy efficient technology coupled with our strong knowledge and understanding of Indian conditions over ten years, equips us to provide heat transfer products and solutions to meet these challenges comprehensively,” added Gokul Das.

HRS Process Systems Ltd exhibited Ecoflux corrugated tube heat exchangers, HRS Funke plate heat exchangers and hot water system variants at the recently held ChemProTech exhibition in Mumbai.
