Engineers India wins mega contract for Nigerian fertiliser plant

The company has bagged the contract for an integrated fertilizer complex project, which is jointly being developed by Brass Fertilizer Company and a Danish consortium led by Haldor Topsoe

Engineers India Ltd has won a contract from Nigeria-based Brass Fertilizer Company Limited (BFCL) for Project Management Consultancy (PMC) services for its upcoming integrated green field gas based fertiliser complex comprising of urea/methanol plant at Brass Island, Nigeria.
 
BFCL and a Danish consortium led by Haldor Topsoe A/S intends to develop this integrated fertilizer complex at Brass Island in the State of Bayelsa, Nigeria with production facilities for ammonia, urea and methanol to cater African Market. The plant is envisaged to be ready for commercial production by mid 2018.
