Fire stops work at Mangalam Organics plant in Maharastra

The fire, reportedly caused by short circuit, has affected the company's camphor packing area

Mangalam Organics Ltd has informed BSE that the fire has taken place in one of the company's camphor packing area at plant located at Kumbhivali village, Khopoli, Maharashtra. The said fire has taken place due to short circuit and currently the situation is under control. The division of camphor is temporarily closed due to incidence of fire as checking of piping and electricals are being done. Plant is safe.
 
Mangalam Organics said that it was in the process of starting the said camphor department shortly.
