Nitin Gadkari inaugurates IOC's oil jetty at Paradip port
The South Oil Jetty, which was inaugurated by Nitin Gadkari (Minister of Shipping, Road Transport & Highways) on July 10, 2015, will enable Paradip refinery for import of crude oil and export of products.
Based on the maximum off take from the Paradip refinery and the average ship sizes, approximately 212 ships can be loaded from the South Jetty per year. Associated facilities for this oil jetty includes one sub-station, control room along with major equipment, vapour recovery system, marine loading arms on jetty, scrapper launcher & receiver, digital control system, etc.
