Nagarjuna Agrichem re-commissions fire affected unit at Srikakulam plant

At least 18 workers were injured in a major blast at the company's Srikakulam plant in July 2012

Nagarjuna Agrichem Ltd, a Hyderabad-based company engaged in the manufacture and sale of pesticide technicals, formulations and fine chemicals, has informed BSE that the fire affected Block-5 of the Srikakulam plant, Andhra Pradesh, has been re-commissioned successfully. This process was initiated on March 10, 2014 and the first output of the product was successfully achieved on March 31, 2014.
 
At least 18 workers were injured in a major blast at the company’s Srikakulam plant in July 2012. The blast reportedly took place when workers were testing a new chemical in the reactor having 10,000-litre capacity.
