PerkinElmer appoints Jon DiVincenzo as Sr President

In this role, DiVincenzo will have overall leadership responsibility for the Environmental Health business

Jon DiVincenzo has been appointed as President, Environmental Health and Senior Vice President of PerkinElmer Inc - a global leader focused on improving the health and safety of people and the environment. In this role, DiVincenzo will have overall leadership responsibility for the Environmental Health business, which has revenues of more than $1 billion and focuses primarily on helping customers ensure safer food and a cleaner environment.
 
DiVincenzo will assume his new role on December 2, 2013 and report to Robert F Friel, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, PerkinElmer. Maurice ‘Dusty’ Tenney who has led the Environmental Health business for four years will assume a newly created position overseeing global operations and customer logistics for the corporation.

Prior to joining PerkinElmer, DiVincenzo served as the President and Chief Executive Officer of Enzymatics, a leading provider of molecular biology reagents. Before that, he worked at Millipore for 18 years where he last served as President of the Bioscience division and also led that company's Lab Water business, one of Millipore's fastest growing businesses.
