Pidilite buys Bluecoat's adhesive biz for Rs 263 cr

The Mumbai-based Pidilite Industries has acquired the adhesive business of the Ahmedabad-based Bluecoat Private Limited for Rs 263.57 crore. Bluecoat Pvt Ltd offers a wide range of adhesive and textile printing chemicals under the brand name 'Bluecoat'. The company has its manufacturing facility at Baddi, Himachal Pradesh.
 
The acquisition of Bluecoat is expected to help Pidilite Industries, which manufactures consumer and specialty chemicals, further strengthen its industrial product business.
