SCIPIG will construct a new air separation unit (ASU), with a capacity of 900 tonnes per day of oxygen, as well as an integrated liquefier. The ASU is expected to start up in 2015. Additionally, SCIPIG will extend its pipeline network in the chemical industry park.
This agreement further strengthens the company’s supply capability and presence in SCIP, expanding its ability to meet the new industrial gas requirements of SECCO and other customers in the chemical industry park.
“SCIPIG has developed and grown significantly since its founding in 2001 and this agreement is the latest example of the company’s success and strong customer relationships. We are pleased to be building this new ASU for SECCO, enabling SCIPIG to continue to offer high-quality products and services to this and other customers in SCIP,” said Dr Minda Ho, President, Praxair China and Chairman of SCIPIG.
