Solvay opens vanillin plant in China

The new plant will increase Solvay's vanillin production capacities by 40 percent

Solvay has enhanced its vanillin production capacities by 40 percent with the opening of its manufacturing facility at Zhenjiang (Jiangsu province) in China, the fast-growing Asian market. The new plant, inaugurated on November 17, 2015, will enable the group to reinforce its position in China and Asia.
 
Solvay Aroma Performance is one of the leading producers of vanillin with manufacturing facilities in Baton Rouge (USA) and Saint-Fons (France). Adding the new plant in Zhenjiang, the company increases significantly its production capacity in vanillin and provides an efficient response to the expanding demand for vanillin in Asia.
