Appoints Ashvini Hiran as the Chief Culture Officer and Richa Arora as COO of Consumer Product Business

Tata Chemicals has created a new role of Chief Culture Officer as a pioneering step to nurture the culture of the organisation. In its 75th year, Tata Chemicals as a provider of innovative solutions for LIFE - Living, Industrial and Farm Essentials - is shaping its organisational DNA to create an enabling culture for its next phase of growth in line with its values and aspirations. Ashvini Hiran will move into the role of Chief Culture Officer.
Hiran has over 30 years of experience behind him in leading Indian and multinational organisations like the Tata Group, Hindustan Unilever, AV Birla Group and Gujarat Coop Milk Marketing Federation (GCMMF). Hiran was currently the Chief Operating Officer of the Consumer Products Business (Living Essentials Vertical) which includes Tata Salt, I - Shakti staples and Tata Swach Water purifier businesses.
Richa Arora, Tata Chemicals’ new COO - Consumer Products Business, was previously Founder & Chief Strategy Officer of a boutique consultancy firm known as Five by Six Consulting. Prior to that she was the Head - Marketing & Innovation at Britannia Industries Limited, and has previously worked in leadership positions at Balsara Home Products and Draft FCB. Arora brings with her more than 25 years of wide ranging experience in FMCG marketing and advertising, strategic planning and communications, and has worked on a width of industries and brands including Frito Lay, Tropicana and Whirlpool.
