Alstom T&D commissions Rajasthan's first 765kV substation at Anta
The company had bagged the Euro 52-mn turnkey project for Anta substation in September 2011

The turnkey project for Anta substation was awarded to Alstom T&D India in September 2011. The contract included installation of three banks of 3x500 MVA, 765/400 kV transformers, 765 kV reactors, other 765 kV equipment and civil works with a total order value of nearly Euro 52 million (Rs 421.2 crore).
The Anta substation was set up by RVPN under the transmission system augmentation scheme to meet the growing energy demand in the state. Currently, Rajasthan has an installed capacity of more than 5,000 MW, with over 3,000 MW still under construction.

Recently, Alstom T&D India has also secured an order from RVPN to supply a 400/220 kV substation in Bhadla, and expand the existing 400/220 kV substation in Bikaner, both situated in the state of Rajasthan.
