Gamesa bags 250-MW wind power project from Orange Renewable

As per deal, Gamesa will deliver two 100 MW wind power projects in Andhra Pradesh and Madhya Pradesh; and 50 MW in Madhya Pradesh

Gamesa bags 250-MW wind power project from Orange Renewable

Gamesa Wind Turbines Private Limited has signed an order for 250-MW wind power project with Orange Renewable, promoted by Singapore-based AT Holdings Pte Ltd. Orange Renewable is focused on developing, constructing and operating renewable energy projects in the field of wind and solar. The strong Orange Renewable team has expertise in project development, capital mobilisation, contract awards and management, project management and power plant operations.
 
Under this agreement, Gamesa will supply 125 units of G97 – 2.0MW – T104 across the three identified sites. While 100 MW at Ananthapur (Andhra Pradesh) and 50MW at Ratlam are scheduled to be completed by March 2016, the 100 MW project in Agar, Madhya Pradesh is to be commissioned by September 2016.
 
For the 100 MW project in Ananthapur, Andhra Pradesh, Gamesa will be responsible for providing turnkey solutions where as in the 150 MW Madhya Pradesh, it will be responsible for project supply, erection and commissioning. The agreement also includes a long term operations and maintenance contract.
