Punj Lloyd bags Rs 1,400-cr order from Kuwait National Petroleum
With this, the cumulative order booking for the company in FY15 reaches Rs 6,425 crore

The scope of work includes the design, detailed engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning of 11 new floating roof product tanks with a capacity of approximate 2,28,000 cubic meters. It also includes allied civil work, interconnecting piping, construction of multiproduct loading points, sub-substation with all electrical systems including emergency power supply and control building besides replacement of depot automation systems (TAS), integration to the new tank gauging system, upgradation of existing Vapour Recovery Unit (VRU), Cathodic Protection System with remote monitoring, fire protection system and all utility packages.

With this new order in Kuwait, we will play an important role in enhancing the storage and loading capacity of fuel at the Ahmadi Depot, which is one of the two depots owned and operated by Kuwait National Petroleum Company.”

With this new order, the Group’s order backlog stands at Rs 22,063 crores. The order backlog is the value of unexecuted orders on March 31, 2014 plus new orders received after that date.
