Steel Strips Wheels (SSWL), an auto component manufacturer, has bagged an export order for supply of Caravan steel wheels for European Union aftermarket, informed in a BSE filing.
As per the order, value at about $ 100k and to be executed from SSWL's Chennai plant, Steel Strips Wheels will supply around 12,000 wheels in a period of six months. The company expects this order to repeat in coming months.
SSWL is aiming for development of new high volume runners for the European Caravan market, which is estimated to be at 2.5 million wheels.
