Belgium's Eubage Laboratory plans to invest $17 mn in Dr Datsons Labs

European firm proposes to invest in Dr Datsons' manufacturing facilities and manufacture & co-market 20 nutraceutical products in India

Belgium's Eubage Laboratory plans to invest $17 mn in Dr Datsons Labs

Eubage Laboratory, the Belgium-based manufacturer of nutrients and nutritional supplements, is planning to invest $ 17 million (about Rs 104 crore) in the Mumbai-based Dr Datsons Labs. Belgian firm has already submitted a letter of interest in this regard to Dr Datsons Labs.
 
As a part of the deal, Eubage Laboratory has proposed to invest in the manufacturing facilities of Dr Datsons Labs Ltd and manufacture 20 nutraceutical products at Dr Datsons’ Pune facility. “We have received a letter of interest from Eubage Laboratories, dated January 19, 2015, expressing interest to invest in the manufacturing facilities of Dr Datsons Labs Ltd and also to out licence 20 nutraceutical products to be manufactured at our Pune formulations facilities subject to audit by FDA authorities & to be co-marketed by both companies,” said Dr Datsons Labs in a BSE filing today.
