Kuraray to sell European PVB film business to GVC SA

The transaction was undertaken to comply with the European Commission's conditional approval for Kuraray acquisition of DuPont's glass laminating solutions/vinyl business

Kuraray Co Ltd has reached an agreement to sell the European PVB film business, formerly owned by European subsidiaries of DuPont, including the production facility in Uentrop (Germany) and the R&D center in Mechelen (Belgium) for enterprise value of Euro 12 million with adjustemnts for net cash/debt balance and net working capital upon closing to GVC SA, which is a subsiadiry of GVC Holdings Inc.
 
The transaction was undertaken to comply with the European Commission's conditional approval of the acquisition of the glass laminating solutions/vinyl business from DuPont by Kuraray, which closed on June 1, 2014.
