Pearl Polymers' Mahad facility catches fire

The ground storage area of one of the company's units located at Mahad, Maharashtra, caught fire on November 22, 2014

A fire outbreak was reported at Mahad (Maharashtra) facility of Pearl Polymers Ltd, the manufacturer of rigid plastic packaging, on November 22, 2014. Pearl Polymers Ltd informed BSE on November 25, 2014 that the ground storage area of one of the company's units located at Mahad, Maharashtra, caught fire on November 22, 2014 around mid-night. The fire got controlled after late night with help of fire brigade and the unit is expected to be back in production in 6 days, it added.
