SSNNL awards Rs 40-cr contract to Captain Polyplast

Sardar Sarovar Narmada Nigam Ltd (SSNNL) has awarded a Rs 40 crore contract to the Rajkot-based Captain Polyplast, a manufacturer of high-density polyethylene (HDPE) pipes and irrigation equipment. The company has received the contract for laying down an underground pipeline for connecting various fields of farmers with the canals of Narmada river. As per the contract, the work order is expected to be completed by March 31, 2015.
 
Captain Polyplast Ltd manufactures and exports HDPE pipes and irrigation equipment such as drip irrigation systems, sprinkler irrigation systems, disc filters, screen filters, hydro-cyclone filters, sand (gravel) filters, compression fittings, valves (electric & mechanical), fertiliser tanks, digital controllers, pressure gauges, etc.
