Odisha Based Raunak singh who originally hails from Ludhiana , Punjab formed the organisation in 2020 During the first wave of covid-19 In India. Sikh Aid’s basic principle is based on the religious philosophy of the First Sikh Guru : Naam jaapo , Kirt karo , Vand chakho (taking gods name , Doing good deeds and serving needed ), irrespective of caste, creed, religion, community and country
Though our organisation was registered in India in 2020 by the name of Sikh Aid India (KAI), our first project was undertaken on 16th august 2018 , when an Flood was hit in kerala region and thousands of people were rendered homeless. We not only saved several lives but also supplied water purifier tablets and tents to the homeless apart from helping the rescue teams,” said Jashanpreet singh Cofounder of sikhaid
Our other major projects include odisha cyclone (2019) Odisha flood (2020) West bengal cyclone (2020)

We have been providing ration to sikhligar sikhs in madhya pradesh from a long time.
The organisation is active in over 25 cities in india and have almost 150 volunteers.
