India beat the USA in match 25 of the ICC T20 World Cup 2024 by seven wickets at the Nassau County International Cricket Stadium in Long Island, New York on Wednesday, June 12. With this win, India entered the Super 8.
Chasing 11 to win, India was helped by Suryakumar Yadav's fifty and a steady 31 by Shivam Dube after Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli and Rishabh Pant departed early. Saurabh Netravalkar, who dropped Surya later on, picked the wickets of Rohit and Kohli in consecutive overs.
Earlier, Arshdeep Singh took 4/9 as India stopped the USA at 110/8 in their 20 overs. Nitish Kumar top-scored for the co-hosts with 27.
