IND vs ENG 2nd Test Day 3: Here's how the third session went
Starting the second session at 130/4 with Gill and Axar in the middle, India went off to a great start, not losing any wickets till 81 more runs were added in the session, Gill reached his third Test ton and then, trying to reverse sweep, got a ball to brush off his gloves and was caught by wicketkeeper Ben Foakes off the bowling of Shoaib Bashir.
With the partnership broken, England got Axar out quickly too as he was trapped leg before wicket by Tom Hartley. Both the wickets came courtesy of reviews as the in-filed umpires had called both of them not out. 29 overs and 97 runs at a loss of just two wickets would mean that it was India's session as they led by 370 runs.
