Its a change of innings and the match stands here

5:15 PM

Here’s how the first innings went

Thanks to fifties from Lhuan-dre Pretorius (76) and Richard Seletswane (64) and some late hitting in the end from Tristan Luus (26*), South Africa Under-19 posted 244/7 in their 50 overs and India Under-19 team would need 245 to win the match and enter their record ninth final in U-19 World Cups.

Raj Limbani was the pick of the bowlers for India as he got three big wickets- Steve Stolk, David Teeger and Juan James. Musheer Khan picked two wickets as well while Soumy Pandye and Naman Tiwari got a wicket each.

5:06 PM

South Africa U-19 post 244, India need 245 to win

Over Summary: 1 4 6 2 0 2; South Africa 244-7 after 50 overs
Riley Norton (7), Tristan Luus (23); Raj Limbani 9-0-60-3

This has been brilliant batting from Luus here as he hits a four and a six and takes two more runs to try and get the Proteas as close to 250 as possible. But there is a dot ball on the fourth one. Two from the last ball would make it a 15-run over and take Proteas Colts to 244. India would now need 245 to win the match and make it to the final.

5:00 PM

8 from the penultimate over

Over Summary: 0 2 0 0 0 6; South Africa 229-7 after 49 overs
Riley Norton (6), Tristan Luus (1); Naman Tiwari 8-0-52-1

Just two runs from the first five balls as Luss with spectacles is unable to get bat on ball regularly. However, he connects it on the sixth one and hits a big six.

4:55 PM

Third scalp for Limbani

Over Summary: 4 0 1 W 1 0; South Africa 221-7 after 48 overs
Riley Norton (6), Tristan Luus (1); Raj Limbani 8-0-45-3

Raj Limabni gets his third wicket of the day Proteas skipper Juan James is caught behind.

Over Summary: 1 Wd 1 W 0 1 0; South Africa 215-6 after 47 overs
Juan James (24), Riley Norton (1); Naman Tiwari 7-0-44-1

Riley Norton is the new batter as a well-set Seletswane has been caught by Priyasnshu Moliya for 64 off 100 balls.

4:49 PM

Over Summary: 4 2 1 4 4 1; South Africa 211-5 after 46 overs
