India once again dominated the first session of the day as they scored 118 runs in 31 overs at the loss of two wickets to go to Lunch at 314/4 with the lead extended to 440 runs. Yashasvi Jaiswal and Sarfaraz Khan are unbeaten as they have added 56 for the fifth wicket. Earlier, Kuldeep Yadav, the nightwatchman and Shubam Gill also added 55 for the third wicket before Gill was run out in the 90s and Yadav was caught by Root off Rehan Ahmed to give England their two wickets.
