Over Summary: 0 0 0 1 4 0; India 326-5 after 86 overs
Ravindra Jadeja (107), Kuldeep Yadav (0); James Anderson 19-5-51-0
Anderson comes in to bowl the last over before the end of the day’s play. Four balls and Kuldeep Yadav has negotiated the deliveries very well. Single is taken off the fourth ball and now Jadeja will have to play the last two and he was not happy about it.
He should be as Anderson has dished out a dolly from round the wicket and he gets a four and crosses the milestone of 3000 Test runs. The last ball is done and that would be stumps with Indi at 326/5, well and truly ahead in the game.
4:58 PM

Ravindra Jadeja (100), Kuldeep Yadav (0); James Anderson 18-5-46-0
The new ball has been taken and it is with James Anderson. He would try and get through Kuldeep Yadav, who was sent in to try and save debutant Dhruv Jurel.

Over Summary: 0 2 1 1 W 1; India 315-5 after 82 overs
Ravindra Jadeja (100), Kuldeep Yadav (0); James Anderson 17-4-46-0
Jadeja moves to 99 as England delays the new ball further. For Sarfaraz, Anderson bowls with the keeper up and now it is Jadeja back on strike to face Anderson. On 99, the local lad is eyeing his fourth Test ton. But it is Sarfaraz Khan who is out as there is a direct hit at the non-striker’s end. Jadeja eventually completes his hundred, but the celebration is muted.

Maiden from Wood
Over Summary: 0 0 0 0 0 0; India 310-4 after 81 overs
Ravindra Jadeja (96), Sarfaraz Khan (61); Mark Wood 17-2-69-3
Mark Wood is into the attack now as the last half an hour of play would begin with the new ball due. England has not taken the new ball though. It's an all-bouncers ploy against Sarfaraz at the moment.
4:34 PM
Maiden from Anderson
Over Summary: 0 0 0 0 0 0; India 310-4 after 80 overs
Ravindra Jadeja (96), Sarfaraz Khan (61); James Anderson 16-4-41-0

Sarfaraz not stopping
Over Summary: 0 0 0 0 4 0; India 310-4 after 79 overs
Ravindra Jadeja (96), Sarfaraz Khan (61); Tom Hartley 22-2-81-1
What a ball this one from Hartley as he betas Sarfrafaz all ends up. But lucky for the batter as the ball does not touch anything on its way to the keeper. Two balls later, Sarfaraz goes down the ground and hits a four.
4:27 PM
Anderson bowling with keeper up
Over Summary: 2 0 4 0 1 0; India 306-4 after 78 overs
Ravindra Jadeja (96), Sarfaraz Khan (57); James Anderson 15-3-41-0
Anderson is bowling with the keeper up. I don’t know how this strategy works, but it is not working as Sarfaraz is getting the runs anyway.

Over Summary: 4 1 0 0 1 0; India 299-4 after 77 overs
Ravindra Jadeja (96), Sarfaraz Khan (50); Tom Hartley 21-2-77-1
Picks up the length so early does Srfaraz that he has ample amount of time to hit the ball. Goes down the ground and gets s ix. Takes a single ball and gets to fifty in just 48 balls. This could be the quickest fifty on debut but needs confirmation from analysts.
4:18 PM

Back-to-back fours from Sarfaraz Khan once again in an over and he is just running away with the match from Bazball.
